In Sri Lanka the Essential Oil of Vetiver is known as 'the oil of tranquillity' for it's stabilising capacity of helping bring stressed individual 'back down to earth' and feel at ease with themselves and their environment. It has a strong, damp earthy, smoky, woody aroma.
